Membership

The Bible addresses the importance of local church membership, but it does not describe in exact detail how each church should approach membership. Some churches have an informal membership process, whereas some churches have a more formal and extensive process. We fall somewhere in the middle.

Membership at Annville Baptist

The requirements for membership are:

1.) A person must be a born-again follower of Jesus Christ

2.) A person must have been Scripturally baptized

3.) A person must agree with the major beliefs of the church

If the above requirements are met and a person has met with the pastor, then a person can become a member through transfer of letter from another church or through a statement of faith.
